Australia: Super Yulong drops in class at Sale
Super Yulong will have a much-needed drop in class for his second start of 2021, which comes in a handicap at about seven furlongs at Sale Racecourse in Australia on Sunday.
Last year, Super Yulong was fourth in the Taj Rossi Series Final Stakes at Flemington and third and second in two tough handicaps in November and December. He lost those races by a combined 1 3/4 lengths.
Super Yulong was fourth by 1 3/4 lengths in a handicap on the synthetic track at Pakenham on June 4 in his only start this year and returns to turf as part of a large field at Sale on Sunday. Super Yulong will be ridden for the first time by Ethan Brown, a former leading apprentice who returned to racing last month after a self-imposed four-month rest.

The Sale program begins at 10:45 p.m., Eastern or 7:45 p.m., Pacific, on Saturday. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
Sale Racecourse is located east of Melbourne in the state of Victoria. After Sunday, there is no racing in Victoria until July 31 to allow the sport a brief break during the Australian winter.
Super Yulong, trained by Matt Laurie, is part of a full field of 13, with five runners on the also-eligible list including the filly Bronzba.
Trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent, Jr., Bronzba won her debut at Rotorua Racecourse in New Zealand on May 15 and will have her second start, if she can draw into this field.
This course and distance should work in favor of Tell Me Again, a winner of 2 of 7 starts. Trained by Philip Stokes, Tell Me Again won a handicap at about a mile at Sale last September. This year, Tell Me Again was last of 13 against a tougher field at Sandown Racecourse in Melbourne on June 30, and eighth by a little more than two lengths in a seven-furlong handicap at Sale on July 9.
Tell Me Again will be ridden by Luke Nolen, who was aboard for the win at Sale last year.
