Australia: Show Me Your Love looks to use her versatility
Show Me Your Love has proved she has the ability to win on soft turf in Australia in the last six months, conditions that will be present in a one-mile race at Tamworth Racecourse on Thursday evening.
A winner of 3 of 8 starts for trainer Kris Lees, the 4-year-old Show Me Your Love was the 2-1 favorite in early betting on Wednesday on the strength of a narrow win at a mile at Tamworth on May 15 in which she closed from fifth of 10 to take the lead in the final strides. The turf course was rated soft that day.
Earlier in her career, Show Me Your Love won a seven-furlong maiden race on heavy turf in May 2022 and a handicap at 7 1/2 furlongs on soft turf last December.
Show Me Your Love is part of a field of 12 in the third race on an eight-race program at Tamworth that begins at 10:15 p.m. Eastern or 7:15 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.

Show Me Your Love is the only runner with a last-race win.
The 4-year-old gelding Tyson’s Dream won consecutive starts last November in December in a maiden race at about 1 1/16 miles and a handicap at 1 3/16 miles. He was rested earlier this year, and returned to finish a decent fourth by 2 3/4 lengths in a seven-furlong handicap at Tamworth on June 9, closing from ninth in a field of 13 to be closest to the front at the wire.
Mr Severino has not been as sharp in recent starts, finishing ninth on May 27 in his first start in three months against a much tougher field and ninth again on June 15 in a one-mile race at Wyong.
A three-time winner, Mr Severino was second in consecutive starts in lucrative handicaps in January and February and can be a factor in this field if he can show any improvement from his recent losses.
