Australia: Rocstar Boy can end losing streak in handicap at Wyong
The three-time winner Rocstar Boy can end a nine-race losing streak since June in a sprint handicap at Wyong Racecourse in Australia on Wednesday evening.
Rocstar Boy has run well despite a string of recent defeats, finishing a close second in three consecutive races from late January to early March. More recently, Rocstar Boy was fourth by two lengths against tougher competition in a handicap at 7 1/2 furlongs at Rosehill Gardens on March 19, and third by 1 1/2 lengths in a handicap at Newcastle on April 29.
The race at Wyong is run at 6 3/4 furlongs, and may better suit Rocstar Boy. He closed well at Newcastle and should have ample pace to follow at Wyong from capable runners such as Budhwar, Matronymic, and Oakfield Waratah.

Budhwar makes a fast turnaround, having finished fourth of 12 in the minor Gooree Cup at Mudgee Racecourse on Sunday. A winner of 4 of 45 starts, Budhwar is not reliant on setting the pace, but is quick enough to have that role.
Matronymic is one of four fillies and mares in the field of 11 at Wyong and the only 3-year-old. Matronymic won a maiden race in her sixth start at Canberra Racecourse on April 14, leading throughout the six furlongs. Matronymic pulled clear as the 4-5 favorite to win by more than 3 3/4 lengths.
Oakfield Waratah has not raced since he finished third in his debut against winners in a handicap at Wyong last November. Oakfield Waratah set the pace, but faded in the last furlong to lose by nearly 1 1/4 lengths. He led throughout a maiden race at 6 3/4 furlongs at Wyong earlier in November.
Wyong has an eight-race program beginning at 10:20 p.m. Eastern or 7:20 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
