Australia: Parties Galore primed for breakout in Sunday handicap
Parties Galore had 10 races' experience before she won for the first time in a maiden race at Port Macquarie in Australia in August.
The win has boosted her career.
Since then, Parties Galore has finished in the top three in three starts, and beat winners for the first time in a six-furlong handicap on the Beaumont course at Newcastle on Oct. 24.
The consistency makes Parties Galore an attractive runner in a handicap at 6 1/4 furlongs at Taree Racecourse on Sunday evening across American time zones. The handicap is restricted to fillies and mares and drew a field of nine.

Taree has a seven-race program beginning at 9:50 p.m. Eastern, or 6:50 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
Parties Galore is trained by Matthew Robinson, who is based at Taree. In her last start at the venue, Parties Galore finished second in a handicap at 6 1/4 furlongs on Sept. 13, leading to the final furlong before losing by 1 1/4 lengths.
Parties Galore tends to run near the front, and is well drawn for that strategy in post 3 in this field. Apprentice jockey Madeline Owen has the mount. Owen was aboard for the win on Oct. 24.
As of Saturday morning, Parties Galore was the 7-2 second choice in early betting behind Elarski at 8-5. Trained by Kris Lees, Elarski is winless in five starts and has not raced since a fifth-place finish in a seven-furlong handicap at Coleraine Racecourse in August.
Elarski’s only win in seven starts occurred in a seven-furlong maiden race at Canberra in November 2021. A 4-year-old filly, Elarski tends to run as a stalker.
Vanilli will draw support in her first start since July. A maiden race winner at seven furlongs at Sunshine Coast in March in her fifth start, Vanilli is winless in four subsequent races against winners, including two third-place finishes. She tends to race from slightly off the pace.
