Australia: No Emotion good fit for five-furlong handicap on Monday
The 6-year-old gelding No Emotion is based with trainer Natalie Jarvis at Moruya Racecourse in Australia, where the four-time winner had his most recent success.
No Emotion won a handicap at five furlongs at Moruya on Aug. 15, and returned to finish a game second by less than a half-length in a five-furlong handicap against a slightly tougher field at Moruya on Aug. 31.
For his first start of September, No Emotion is not going far from the stable’s base at Moruya, which is well south of Sydney. No Emotion has an excellent chance for a fifth career win in his 34th start in a handicap at five furlongs at Moruya on Monday.
No Emotion is part of a full field of 11, with two runners on an also-eligible list.

Moruya has a seven-race program that begins at 11:25 p.m. Eastern, or 8:25 p.m. Pacific, on Sunday. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
No Emotion drew post 11 and will be ridden by apprentice jockey Ruby Haylock, who was aboard for the two August races. No Emotion tends to run from a stalking position.
With a sprint in a relatively large field, pace and positioning will be vital.
Top contender Washington Towers will be in a similar place as No Emotion's. A winner of 4 of 10 starts, Washington Towers has won his last two starts both in five-furlong races in March – at Canberra and Wagga Wagga.
The 6-year-old mare Designer Maid is likely to set the pace, and won a five-furlong handicap at Moruya with that style in June. Designer Maid is winless in her last three starts.
Exaggerate, an 8-year-old gelding, will have his 69th start in the Moruya handicap. Exaggerate, who is still quick enough to lead despite his age, was second in his last start, in a five-furlong handicap on the synthetic Acton course at Canberra Racecourse on Aug. 6.
Exaggerate won a six-furlong handicap at Moruya in January 2018.
