Australia: Loving Miss tops Queensland Thoroughbred Incentive Scheme Handicap
Loving Miss will be favored to win her second consecutive start in the Queensland Thoroughbred Incentive Scheme Handicap for Southern Hemisphere juveniles at seven furlongs at Gold Coast Racecourse on Friday.
Loving Miss, one of seven fillies in a field of nine, has shown an affinity for Gold Coast, having finished second in a handicap at 5 1/2 furlongs there on March 21 before a two-length win in a handicap at 6 1/2 furlongs on April 9.

The QTIS Handicap is the first of nine races at Gold Coast on a program that begins at 9:33 p.m. Eastern, or 6:33 p.m. Pacific, on Thursday evening. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
Trained by Toby and Trent Edmonds, Loving Miss will have the longest race of her career Friday. She tends to race as a stalker and closed from fourth to win comfortably on April 9.
Loving Miss will be ridden by Matthew McGillivray, who was aboard for the recent win. Loving Miss will carry top weight of 126 pounds.
Mishani Rebel was assigned top weight of 130 pounds, but apprentice jockey Nathan Fazackerly claims seven pounds. Mishani Rebel will have his third start of April on Friday, having finished third in a handicap at 5 1//2 furlongs on April 3 and second by a length in a handicap at six furlongs on April 17.

Mishani Rebel won an allowance race at 4 1/2 furlongs at Gold Coast in February, his only victory in six starts.
There are five winners in the field, including Jabalic, Sizzlepel, and Uncomplicated.
Jabalic was second to Loving Miss on April 9 at Gold Coast as an outsider.
Uncomplicated recorded a surprise win at 40-1 in her debut in a maiden race at five furlongs on April 1 at Sunshine Coast, closing from the back of a field to win by a nose.
