Australia: Leave Me Some could end skid in Tuesday handicap
After a five-win season in 2020, the Australian mare Leave Me Some has struggled this year, going winless in seven starts. There are indications the losing streak could end in a seven-furlong handicap at Gunnedah Racecourse on Tuesday.
Leave Me Some has run against stout company in her last two starts, finishing third by a little more than two lengths in a competitive handicap at about 6 1/2 furlongs at Muswellbrook on June 6, and fourth, by 1 1/4 lengths, in a handicap at 5 1/2 furlongs on the Kensington course at Royal Randwick on June 16.
At Gunnedah, the 5-year-old Leave Me Some is part of a field of eight in the fourth race of a seven-race program that begins at 10:50 p.m. Eastern, or 7:50 p.m. Pacific, on Monday. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.

Trained by Grant Marshall, Leave Me Some has not shown a consistent style, sometimes racing near the front, or far off the pace.
Jaja Chaboogie, expected to go favored in the Gunnedah handicap, won consecutive starts in handicaps at 7 1/2 furlongs at Port Macquarie on April 26 and at a mile at Tamworth on May 17. In both races, Jaja Chaboogie closed from off the pace to win narrowly.
More recently, Jaja Chaboogie was eighth of 10 in a one-mile handicap at Newcastle Racecourse on June 5, setting the pace before fading to lose by 3 1/4 lengths.
Jaja Chaboogie drew the rail in this field, which may lead jockey Darryl McLellan to take a stalking position.
Jaja Chaboogie will carry 121.2 pounds, while Leave Me Some has an assignment of 127.8 pounds. Both are far below topweight Herzegovina, who will carry 132.2. Herzegovina, a 5-year-old gelding, has won 7 of 36 starts including two of his last four races.
Herzegovina is taking a drop in class following a seventh-place finish in a handicap at 7 3/4 furlongs on the Kensington course at Royal Randwick on June 16.
