Australia: Haysiri will be rolling late in sprint at Scone Racecourse
Haysiri, who will have his third career start in a handicap sprint at Scone Racecourse in Australia on Thursday evening, kept good company when he was beaten for the first time earlier this year.
Haysiri won his debut in a maiden race at 6 1/2 furlongs at Scone in May, and was sixth by 4 1/4 lengths in a handicap at 6 3/4 furlongs at Wyong Racecourse in June.
At Wyong, Haysiri finished to Windshadow, who was first and third in his next two starts. Oakfield Waratah, who finished third, won two of his next three starts, including a lucrative handicap at a mile at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.

At Scone on Thursday evening, Haysiri is part of a field of 10 in the third race on an eight-race program that begins at 10:05 p.m. Eastern or 7:05 p.m. Pacific. Wagering is available through DRFBets.com.
In his lone win, Haysiri rallied from off the pace. He will have company in that position in this field from Extra Smart, a 5-year-old mare.
Haysiri is trained by Lou Mary, whose small stable won with 7 of 50 runners from May 21 through Oct. 20.
Extra Smart is winless in her last five starts, but has been second or third in three of those races. She has not raced since a second by 3 1/2 lengths in a six-furlong handicap on the infield Beaumont course at Newcastle on Sept. 26.
The race at Scone will be a class test for Eighty Eight Stars, who won a seven-furlong maiden race at Tamworth as the 4-5 favorite on Oct. 13, closing from fourth of 12 to win by slightly less than a length.
Eighty Eight Stars is one of five last-race winners in the field of 10 at Scone. Starry Jack won a maiden race from the front in a six-furlong handicap at Tamworth on Oct. 12.
Starry Jack is likely to be the runner to catch in this field.
