Australasia risks perfect record in Victory Ride
Chelsea Durand/NYRA Australasia wins the Jersey Girl at Belmont on June 6 to run her record to 6 for 6.
ELMONT, N.Y. – The unbeaten Louisiana-bred Australasia will put her 6-for-6 mark on the line in Saturday’s Grade 3, $150,000 Victory Ride Stakes for 3-year-old fillies on dirt at 6 1/2 furlongs.

Australasia is coming off a one-length victory in the Jersey Girl Stakes here June 6. She is trained by Brad Cox, as is Victory Ride entrant Inject, who is coming off a win in the Goldfinch Stakes on May 15 at Prairie Meadows.
Bella Sofia and Miss Brazil finished second and third behind Australasia in the Jersey Girl and are back to take her on again.
Completing the field are Miss Preakness winner Red Ghost, Souper Sensational, Shop Girl, and Ova Charged.
