Arrogate, continuing his preparation for a title defense in the Breeders' Cup Classic, had a workout on Tuesday morning at Santa Anita that was similar to what he has done the past couple of weeks - going in company with stablemate Uninvited, starting off well back, and then galloping out an additional furlong. He was officially credited with a five-furlong drill in 1:00.20, with Santa Anita clockers taking him from the half-mile pole to a furlong past the wire. The time was the best of the first 31 drills at that distance on Tuesday morning. The clockers had Arrogate in splits of 36.20 for three furlongs and 47.80 for a half-mile - which is when he reached the finish line - and had him galloping out six furlongs to the six-furlong pole in 1:13.20. :: Breeders' Cup PP packages: Get PPs, betting strategies, DRF+ Pro access, and more  Rafael Bejarano was aboard for the work. Mike Smith has the mount in the $6 million Classic on Nov. 4 at Del Mar. "He went nice and easy, just cruising around there," trainer Bob Baffert said. "The track is deep this morning. He went really nice, was happy coming off the track. "He's just doing everything really nice, wanting to do it, switched leads right on cue." Baffert has three more works planned for Arrogate prior to the Classic, with at least the next two at Santa Anita. Also Tuesday morning, the unbeaten 2-year-old filly Moonshine Memories went a half-mile in 48.40 seconds as she readies for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, also Nov. 4 at Del Mar. Moonshine Memories, trained by Simon Callaghan, is 3 for 3, and most recently won the Grade 1 Chandelier Stakes at Santa Anita. She won twice at Del Mar during the summer, including in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante.
