Aqueduct pick six pays $55K

Following a two-day carryover of $77,053, Thursday’s pick six at Aqueduct paid $55,154. There were four winning tickets.

Thursday’s pick-six winners, on races 4 to 9, were Midnightinpositano ($11.40), Majestic Jess ($10.60), Tiz So Sweet ($12.20), Miss Da Point ($16.60), Mississippi Duel ($7.70), and Mi Hijo ($5.20).

Entering the final race of the sequence, three horses were live in the pick six: Mi Hijo, the 8-5 favorite; Political Farce, 7-2; and Gridiron Great, 7-2. Mi Hijo and runner-up Political Farce caught front-running 22-1 longshot Brass Pear in the final sixteenth of a mile.

The consolation for picking five winners Thursday was $316.50.
