Taking a shot that WHIRLIN (#3, 20-1) is going to take a big step forward with today's addition of blinkers, as those last two morning breezes are vastly improved; remains to be seen if that transfers to the afternoon but at a 20-1 Morning Line he's worth a try in all slots. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayEZPZ LEMON SQUEEZE (#8, 20-1) may be a bit of a reach racing at this level, but her best race fits well enough against this bunch and there is a lot of speed signed on which is going to give her her best chance to make an impact. It’s also a plus to note that not only is she the lone entrant with a prior win over this course, but she is a scant nose away from being three-for-three here. - Mike Beer Live LongshotDANCE WITH GIO (#4, 15-1) drops back to a more realistic spot after being in tight about early on the far turn down at LRL; low profile conditioner ensures big price.- Chuck Kuehhas

Spot PlaySCREENPLAY (#2, 10-1) had a couple of excuses, but in reality wasn’t nearly as effective off the claim by high percentage connections over the summer. He has plenty of back races which make him competitive in this field, and all of them came when racing for this owner/trainer combo, who apparently purchased him back privately after his last start. - Mike Beer SCREENPLAY (#2, 10-1) rejoins trainer John Terranova’s barn and is back with his former owner, Jim Covello, with whom this horse had plenty of success previously; $20,000 claiming level suits this old class horse. – Byron King
