Spot PlayCARAMEAWAY (#2, 5-2) is "only" 5/2 but she's third choice on the line; may be quicker than ALLIE SWEET out of the gate, and if she can shake loose she has license to steal this. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayASTRONOMO (#1, 5-1) never got close when debuting for $25k on January 13, but that was a day when you did not want to be inside, and he spent most of the trip along the rail; taken out of that one by sharp claiming barn (Nevin is 6-for-16 off the claim over the past year - $2.49 ROI - via Formulator) and returns at lower level with blinkers on. - Mike Beer
Spot PlayREALLY B CAT (#4, 7-2): Can’t resist angle of a first-time starter with a gate workout at five furlongs (1:00.20 breezing Feb. 23) faster than the experienced starters have run in actual competition; half-brother to four winners. --Dave Litfin

Spot PlayISLAND CANDY (#2, 10-1) was outpaced then finished gamely in sloppy track sprint debut at Laurel, then simply landed in too tough of a spot when stretched out vs. U. S. S. O'Brien (74 Beyer) for second start; turns back, catches what should be a fast track, and has that deceptively good debut to build upon. - Mike Beer
