Race 4

Vulnerable Favorite

READ THE PROPOSAL (#1, 1-1) is the fastest horse in the race overall, and owns a last-out Beyer Speed Figure which towers over any recent figures earned by his competition; the negatives are – he hung badly in that last race, which was three months ago, and he is entered back off the claim for less than half of the price he was taken for. - Mike Beer

Race 5

Live Longshot

WESTERN GRIT (#5, 15-1) has proven capable in the past of running a race that would be competitive here, and he turns back out of a series of routes into a race that has plenty of pace on paper; will need some things to go his way, but he’s an interesting price to take a shot with. - Mike Beer

Race 6

Live Longshot

MR BISCOTTI (#6, 10-1) ships up from Parx for sharp barn off the two month freshening following runner-up effort to odds-on runaway winner; has nice gate drill this week in preparation. - Chuck Kuehhas

Live Longshot

SWEETHOTS (#3, 10-1): After breaking slow from the far outside in her debut, this Florida shipper switches from turf to dirt, and meets fellow New York-breds this time; eligible to show more at a price. --Dave Litfin

Spot Play

Expecting a much better effort from JAZZMINEGEM (#9, 8-1) today after well-bred filly got away very slowly from the gate and was left to get only experience out of her debut, which she did finishing with interest under her own power. - Mike Beer

Race 8

Spot Play

THE ROYAL BOOT (#4, 12-1) was only a nose behind NUFFSAID NUFFSAID in their last meeting but she will be at least three times the price of that rival today; latest was sub-par but she should get a more favorable pace scenario today. -Kenny Peck

Race 9

Live Longshot

PERFECT DANCING (#5, 10-1) was very green then running at the end of debut which appeared to be an effort he could build upon, but didn’t really get a chance to do so when spending the majority of his second start getting outrun along a dead rail; can be given another chance, especially if going off around those ML odds. - Mike Beer
