Spot PlayMESS IN A DRESS (#6, 4-1) looks like the controlling speed in this route, as this race is otherwise short on pace; thinking she can steal it if Rice is able to back down the fractions. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayWon't be easy for KARA'S MATCH POINT (#3, 9-2) to get past both the hard-hitting Sally's Dream and recent top fig maiden breaker Lunar Surge (if she wheels back in 4 days), but she's been given the wrong ride keeping to the inside all the way in each of her last two starts, and has the pedigree to stretch out. - Mike Beer KARA’S MATCH POINT (#3, 8-1): Doubtful she’ll be anywhere near the morning-line quote, but have to like this Curlin filly’s chances at perhaps 4-1 or so, as she stretches out off a good tune-up chasing in a slow-paced sprint. --Dave Litfin Vulnerable FavoriteLUNAR SURGE (#1, 2-1) was game to get up in time in that maiden score last time out, in her first start off the layoff. She earned a career-best Beyer, however, and that makes her a classic "bounce" candidate in her 2nd start off the layoff; she also could be too late if she's well off the pace once again. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayIRSAAL (#3, 4-1) was rated into submission behind a slow pace when returned from a layoff back in November, but he showed plenty of potential as a newly gelded spring/summer 3yo, and can take a strep forward here. - Mike Beer
