MISSED COUNT (#3, 2-1): Although she came up short at even money in her first New York start Dec. 18, she was claimed by a sharp outfit in the midst of a terrific meet. Her maiden win with similar spacing between starts was as good or better than anything in this field, and she had been entered in a tougher spot on last Monday’s cancelled card. --Dave Litfin

MISSED COUNT (#3, 2-1) is first off the claim for the sharpest of connections, but she was a complete no show off the change to Jacobson in December - a time when that barn was rolling; alternatives difficult to come by here, but both Radiant Cut and Donna Jean will beat her is she shows up with that last race. - Mike Beer
