Guess I don’t have a huge argument against likely favorite Wood On the Fire (#1, 8/5), though I don’t really need him at a short price and will instead try KAEPERNICK (#3, 5-1) as he drops down and turns back after chasing the pace going long last time; tough trip giving wide chase last time he sprinted. - Mike Beer

SINISTRA (#4, 4-1) is an improved 4yo and should have an easier time of it this time trip-wise after expending too much energy giving futile chase as odds-on Prohibition (98 Beyer) rolled on the lead March 20th. - Mike Beer

MAGNIFICENT MOON (#8, 8-5) has run all of the best races in this weak field, but those efforts came quite awhile ago, and taking something-to-five on 6yo maidens making career start #22 is generally a bad idea. - Mike Beer
