Spot PlayRISK CONTROL (#4, 6-1) there was a time when Violette was as good a first time turf trainer as there was in NY, but he’s had a bad stretch in recent years; think the price will be right on this 3yo Giant’s Causeway filly. - Chuck Kuehhas Closer Looks >> |

Live LongshotMISTER WOOLMAN (#5, 8-1): Chased in Mar. 22 placing to favored Force Multiplier on a speed-favoring track, and was flattered when the 3rd & 4th finishers returned to win; may fall through the cracks after failed turf experiment. --Dave Litfin Spot PlayFLY BYE POMEROY (#7, 5-1) didn't run all that well in his first start off th layoff but he may have been overmatched there; expecting an improved effort here, as his works leading up to that race suggest he's better than that. -Kenny Peck

Vulnerable FavoriteSEND THE LIMO (#4, 5-2) earned what is easily the best last out figure in the body of the race in her lone start so figures to get bet off that, but debut was on the main track; Rodriguez rarely wins on the turf, and will leave out of horizontal wagers. - Chuck Kuehhas
