Aqueduct: Carryovers in pick six, NYRA Bets pick five for Thursday

There will be a carryover of $19,376 in the pick six and a carryover of $38,520 in the NYRA Bets pick five for Thursday at Aqueduct. However, that card is in jeopardy of cancellation if the midrange weather forecast is correct.

The weather folks are calling for a high temperature of 15 degrees Thursday, with wind chills below zero. If that forecast is accurate, it is unlikely that racing will be conducted.

If the forecast proves incorrect, the pick six will begin with race 3 (1:55 p.m. Eastern) and the pick five with race 4 (2:26 p.m.) on the eight-race card. The pick-five wager is only available to those who play through the NYRA Bets advance-deposit wagering platform, ontrack, or at a New York state simulcast venue.

A carryover in the pick-six was assured after victories by Tayler's the Boss ($28) and Ujjayi ($13) in races 6 and 8, the latter being the $100,000 Ruthless Stakes.

There were live tickets to three of the nine runners in the last, but Abraxan ($8.50) held off one of those runners, Princess Pinky to get the victory.
