It appears the path to success in the $50,000 Strike Your Colors Stakes at Delaware Park on Wednesday runs through Parx Racing. The Parx runners Never Gone South and Morning Fire have already met once, with Never Gone South taking round 1 by a wide margin. The difference between the two could tighten up in the 5 1/2 furlong Strike Your Colors.

All-sources handle up slightly at Del Mar

All-sources average handle is on the rise at Del Mar. After a slow start to the summer meeting caused by wet weather on opening weekend, July 17-18, the track reported a 1.2 percent rise in average handle through Sunday, the 14th day of the 40-day meeting.
