All of Her Twist turned into a nice substitute for owners George and Lori Hall and trainer Kelly Breen in the $70,000 Dearly Precious Stakes for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Monmouth Park.\nEntered as a backup to Bold Union, All of Her Twist ($27.80) took center stage when her entrymate was an early scratch.\n"Our original plan was to run Bold Union in the race," Breen said. "She was a little under the weather. This wound up being a great backup plan."\nAll of Her Twist rallied to beat Pretty Frolic by one length in her stakes debut.\nUnhurried in the early stages, All of Her Twist and jockey Stewart Elliott bided their time while Frolic's Dream and Gemswick Park dueled for the lead.\nElliott, aboard the filly for the first time, angled to the outside turning for home. She was carried extremely wide in the lane. It didn't matter once All of Her Twist kicked in.\n"Kelly explained to me that once she settled, she should be able to give you a nice kick," Elliott said. "That's just what happened. The other horses banged heads. When I took her out for the run, she just took off."\nIt was the second straight win and third in nine starts.\n"She's getting better with every start," Breen said.\nThe time was 1:10.60 for the six furlongs on the fast track.\nGemswick Park held on for third, followed by Onearmedbandit, On the Menu, Frolic's Dream, and Wild Shiner.
