Usually when a horse comes off a top-level performance and finishes in front of his chief rival, the horse is subsequently favored when the two meet again.
The strength of the Memorial Day Weekend stakes schedule is on the holiday itself on Monday, but there are four graded stakes on Saturday. One of them, the Grade 3 Louisville Handicap at Churchill Downs, seems like a potential spot for someone to jump up with a much-improved performance, and I think Rescue Squad is that horse.
