Alexis Tangier heads Autumn Miss Stakes

Shigeki Kikkawa Alexis Tangier wins the Unzip Me Stakes on Sept. 27 at Santa Anita.
ARCADIA, Calif. – Saturday’s $100,000 Autumn Miss Stakes for 3-year-old fillies over a mile on turf at Santa Anita will have a large field, and a strong team from trainer Tom Proctor’s stable.
The Grade 3 Autumn Miss Stakes is led by Alexis Tangier, who won the Unzip Me Stakes on the hillside turf course Sept. 27 in her stakes debut for trainer Mandella.
Proctor could have as many as three runners, including Diversy Harbor, who was second in the Grade 1 American Oaks in May but sixth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks in August; Famous Alice, who was second in the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes here in June; and Wonderfully, who was eighth in the Unzip Me Stakes.
