Jack Coady/Coady Photography Aintgotno Home held off stiff competition from Say a Hail Mary to win Friday's Bob Bryant Stakes at Prairie Meadows.
ALTOONA, Iowa – Favored Aintgotno Home ($6.00) got the best of a spirited duel with Say a Hail Mary and edged clear late under Terry Thompson to take Friday's $68,900 Bob Bryant Stakes by 1 1/4 lengths.
Maintaining a narrow advantage through early fractions in 22.29 seconds and 45.71, Aintgotno Home, claimed the previous Thursday for $30,000 by owner Shawn Schabel, found more under pressure to collect the top prize of $41,340. Trained by John Hall, the King of Scat filly proved best over six Iowa-bred rivals and covered the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11.38.
The Hillary Hartman-trained Say a Hail Mary gamely held second, 2 1/2 lengths clear of Golden Tiago, who had loomed a brief threat turning for home.
