Aint She Tempting tops Heritage Place Futurity qualifiers
Aint She Tempting will start favored in the $826,260 Heritage Place Futurity on May 30 at Remington Park after an easy win in a division of the time trials Saturday.
Ridden by leading jockey James Flores, Aint She Tempting ($2.40) ran 350 yards in 17.57 seconds, cruising to a win by 4 1/4 lengths over eight rivals. Aint She Tempting had a clean start and was quickly clear.
Trained by Monty Arrossa, Aint She Tempting had the fastest qualifying time from two nights of trials. The runners with five fastest times from 10 trials on Friday and Saturday, regardless of finishing positions, earned berths in the final.
Eight trial race winners and two second-place finishers earned berths for the final on the closing night of the track’s winter-spring Quarter Horse meeting.
Aint She Tempting, owned by Dunn Ranch and Levings Ranch, was supplemented to the trials for $25,000. A filly by Tempting Dash, Aint She Tempting is unbeaten in three starts, including a win in the $383,700 Oklahoma Futurity at 300 yards on March 21.
Purchased for $21,500 as a yearling, Aint She Tempting has earned $164,220.

Aint She Tempting is the only stakes winner in the Heritage Place Futurity final. Coronados Lady, third in the Oklahoma Futurity, earned a berth in the final with a trial win Friday.
Coronados Lady was timed in 17.641, equaling the fastest time of the program. Shott Gun won a trial on Friday in the same time. Other qualifiers from Friday were HR Princess Jess (17.661), Contender (17.669) and Coronados Chick (17.70).
Aside from Aint She Tempting, the qualifiers from Saturday’s trials were Instygator (17.67), Candy Blood (17.74), Dash for Blood (17.82), and Bpmysoutherndynasty (17.89).
Coronados Chick was second to Shott Gun, while Bymysoutherndynasty was second to Candy Blood.
