After cancellation, Fort Erie closing day will now be Monday

After receiving regulatory approvals, Fort Erie has announced the rescheduled closing day for the 2022 meet will be on Monday with a 12:25 p.m. post time.

The card will be Fort Erie’s fan appreciation day. Fans will receive free programs and prizes will be given away between races.

There will be a mandatory payout of over $11,000 in the Jackpot Hi 5 pool on the final race.

Fort Erie canceled what was scheduled to be closing day last Tuesday when persistent rain created unfavorable racing conditions.
