“This filly is a really nice filly,” said Richard Eramia, who was aboard for trainer Steve Asmussen. “She loves the turf. She won at Remington very easy.”
Adore was winning the second turf stakes of her career behind the $75,000 Ricks Memorial last September at Remington Park. Overall, she is a three-time stakes winner for Winchell Thoroughbreds. Adore earned $58,000 on Saturday to improve her career record to 11 wins from 23 starts for earnings of $500,924.
Adore came into Saturday’s race off a third-place finish in an off-the-turf allowance at Lone Star. Asmussen said he looked for her to move forward as the start was her first since January. Adore is a daughter of Big Brown.
