Adirondack King looks to extend Servis's hot hand in allowance feature

John Servis's consecutive race win streak came to an end Saturday when Bai Bai Baby finished fifth in race 5 at Keeneland and Cathryn Sophia came up a half-length short when third in the Grade 1 Ashland, race 6 at Keeneland.
Prior to Bai Bai Baby's loss, however, Servis won the fifth race at Parx, stretching his streak to nine straight victories. Servis came back to win the sixth at Parx - which was run between the fifth and sixth race at Keeneland - keeping a somewhat more-limited streak alive. Servis has now won 10 straight races in Pennsylvania.
Servis will try to keep things going Monday at Parx when he sends out Adirondack King in race 7, a loaded no-conditions allowance race at a mile with a purse of $60,000. Winning won't be easy, though, as the race also includes Bears Personality, a winner of three straight; Bowman's Beast, a winner of three of his last four; Roxbury N Overton, a winner of two straight; and Sailors Revenge, a winner of two of his last three.
Adirondack King, a six-time winner at Parx, comes into Monday's race off a win in the $100,000 Challenger at Tampa Bay Downs. Servis also entered Nasa in the race but he has been entered back in an optional-claiming race Tuesday and will have to scratch.
Servis's streak began March 30 at Penn National when he won the sixth race with Someday Jones. His other starter in the Pennsylvania-bred allowance race, Poised for Action, finished fourth.
Servis then went 2 for 2 at Parx on April 2, 4 for 4 at Parx on April 4, and won with his lone starter on April 5.
Servis is now 14 for 20 at the Parx meet, which began Feb. 27.
Race 6 at Parx on Monday is a $25,000 starter-allowance race, which has lured graded stakes winner Trouble Kid.
