Added starter Saturday at Fair Grounds

The Fair Grounds stewards have ruled that Storm Heat, who was entered but excluded from Saturday's 11th race at Fair Grounds,the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Sprint, will now be allowed to run but will compete for purse money only. There will be no betting on Storm Heat, who will break from the outside post.

The change was not made in time for Saturday's editions of Daily Racing Form.

The horse Killing Me, No. 6, has been scratched so that Storm Heat can run. The Louisiana Champions Day Sprint overfilled when entries were taken, with 2007 earnings the tiebreaker to get into the field. The stewards ruled that based on 2007 earnings, Storm Heat should have been included in the field instead of Killing Me.
