Acorn under consideration for Percy's Bar but Monomoy Girl more likely

Percy’s Bar had her first work since racing in the Kentucky Oaks when she breezed a half-mile May 24 at Keeneland – but toward what end, trainer Ben Colebrook isn’t yet certain.
Colebrook said the Grade 1 Acorn on June 5 at Saratoga is under consideration, but it sounds like Percy’s Bar could instead show up in the Monomoy Girl a week later at Churchill Downs.
Percy’s Bar was disqualified from first to second as the best horse last fall in the Grade 1 Alcibiades at Keeneland, and in her first start following a tough-trip fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, she beat favored Zany in the Grade 1 Ashland, also at Keeneland, Colebrook’s home track. Sent off at 5-1 in the Oaks, Percy’s Bar endured a wide trip and checked in seventh.
“I don’t know that she fired her ‘A’ race. I do know she was not real happy running at night,” Colebrook said.
