Absatootly going in Garland of Roses

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Absatootly is cross-entered in two stakes with similar conditions Saturday, but trainer Charlton Baker said the New York-bred filly will run in the $100,000 Garland of Roses at Aqueduct.
Absatootly also was entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Willa On the Move Stakes at Laurel, where the filly is undefeated in three starts. Ms Locust Point is another who was cross-entered in both spots, but trainer John Servis has yet to decide where his filly will run. Both the Garland of Roses and Willa On the Move are for fillies and mares and run at six furlongs.
Absatootly is coming off a half-length victory at 11-1 odds in the Iroquois Stakes for New York-breds on Oct. 21 at Belmont Park. That day, she rallied from nine lengths off the pace and took advantage of a strong early pace. She defeated Quezon, who was nine lengths clear of third-place finisher Cozzy Spring. Quezon is entered back in this spot.

Absatootly will lure Joe Bravo back to New York from Fair Grounds. Bravo has been aboard Absatootly in her last three starts and seems to have found the filly’s niche as a one-run closer.
“He’s got a license to do what he wants to do,” Baker said of Bravo. “He gets along with her really well.”
Absatootly will break from post 3. Quezon, with Joe Rocco named, will break from the rail. Others entered include Kalabaka, Ms Locust Point, Picco Uno, Fusaichi Red, and Friend of Liberty.
The Garland of Roses will go as race 8 on a nine-race card that begins at 12:20 p.m.
