Aaron's Tap, Scythe get rematch in It's Only Money Stakes

West Virginia-bred and -accredited runners will be in action at Charles Town on Saturday in the $50,000 It’s Only Money Stakes. Aaron’s Tap and Scythe are rematched in the 4 1/2-furlong sprint.
Aaron’s Tap, trained by Jeff Runco, is coming off a victory in the Confucius Say Stakes on April 20 in his second start of the year. The gelding, who is 11 for 19, won last year’s Last Enchantment Stakes and finished third in the West Virginia Dash for Cash Breeders’ Classic Stakes.
Scythe finished second in the Last Enchantment before winning the Dash for Cash Breeders’ Classic. Trained by his owner and breeder, Leslie Condon, Scythe is winless in five starts since then. He finished fifth in the Immortal Eyes Overnight Dash Stakes in his season opener.
