$89,776 pick six carryover starts week

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – A pick six carryover of $89,776 spices up a rather bland Wednesday card at Aqueduct on a day when wet weather could be a factor.
The pick six went unhit on Saturday’s Wood Memorial card when Summer Place to Be ($124.50) upset the opening leg of a sequence that began the day with a $21,016 carryover.
Here’s a look at Wednesday’s pick six sequence, which begins with race 4 (2:53 p.m. Eastern).
Race 4: Royal Suspicion, with blinkers added, recorded a 27-1 upset over four of these rivals in a New York-bred allowance similar to this Feb. 11 over the inner track. The dynamics change to a one-turn mile over the main track, which could favor others.
Miss Da Point, third to Royal Suspicion on Feb. 1, has won her last three races run over the main track, the last two going a one-turn mile and one of those in the mud. She could be the controlling speed from the rail under apprentice Angel Cruz, who won seven races last week.

Star Grazing is making her first start off a 201-day layoff. Last July, off a 258-day layoff, she won a six-furlong maiden race in the mud at Belmont. Further, trainer Jimmy Jerkens has won with four of his last five starters at Aqueduct.
Hot Rendezvous is 2 for 5 in the mud and ran well last out against open company.
Race 5: Aleander is a hold-your-nose single for David Jacobson, who is obviously dropping this one in hopes of getting him claimed. But, seriously, where else can you go?
Race 6: Definitely have to use Don Tito, who goes first off the claim for Danny Gargan. Gargan is 10 for 22 this year, matching his win total for 2014. Gargan has won with six of his last nine starters at Aqueduct and is 4 for 9 first off the claim since Nov. 15.
Read the Mirage, off the class drop, and Summit County, off a win in the mud, also should be on the ticket. War Hero goes first off the Jacobson claim and has won his last two.
Race 7: Thinking you could get through this leg with Laghubaar, who drops for Jacobson, and Majestic Guy, a class dropper for Carl Domino. Can’t argue with those who add Kowboy Boots, who has been gelded since running sixth against better in January over the inner track.
Race 8: Stallwalkin’ Dude is 4 for 6 over wet surfaces and is cutting back to 6 1/2 furlongs after running fourth in a 1 1/16-mile claiming stakes.
Doc Almon and Sky Commander also are horses that should be on the ticket in this solid $50,000 claiming event.
Race 9: You’ve got to think John Parisella would like nothing better than to return a winner, with Rivetto his first starter in 22 months. Rivetto is dropping after being claimed for $16,000 in January. He is winless in three wet-track starts. Hidden Warrior and Charitable are logical.
