852 cataloged for OBS June sale

The catalog for the 2018 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. June 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age sale is now online, with 852 horses on offer.

The auction will take place in Ocala, Fla., June 13-15, with each of the three sessions beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern. The pre-sale under-tack show will be held at the Ocala Training Center June 7-10, starting at 7:30 a.m.

This year’s catalog comprises 845 juveniles and seven horses of racing age. Supplemental entries will be accepted until May 23.

Stallions whose first crops are represented with juveniles in the catalog include Alpha, Atreides, Bandbox, Cairo Prince, Capo Bastone, Central Banker, Cross Traffic, Csaba, Fed Biz, Flashback, Fort Loudon, Goldencents, Guilt Trip, Handsome Mike, Honorable Dillon, Itsmyluckyday, Mark Valeski, Moro Tap, Mucho Macho Man, Noble Mission, Quinzieme Monarque, Real Solution, Revolutionary, Sabercat, Shakin It Up, Strong Mandate, Super Ninety Nine, Tritap, Uncaptured, Verrazano, War Command, and Will Take Charge.

Entries in the sale were bred in Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Outside the U.S., there are horses cataloged that were born in Ontario, Canada, as well as one from Germany.
