$82K carryover for Breeders' Cup Saturday

OCEANPORT, N.J. - Breeders' Cup officials got a head start on their $3 million guaranteed pick-six pool for Saturday as nobody hit the gimmick wager Friday at Monmouth Park, resulting in an $82,024 carryover into Saturday.

The consolation payoff for having five of six was $1,681.10.

The sequence was made up of all stakes, and after starting out with favorite Tessa Blue ($4.80), it got increasingly difficult with Sea Chanter ($18.40), Margo's Gift (55.40), Maryfield ($18) in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, Nownownow ($27.20) in the BC Juvenile Turf, and Corinthian ($9.40) in the BC Dirt Mile.
