193 cataloged to CTBA sale

The catalog for the 2015 California Thoroughbred Breeders Association Northern California yearling and horses of racing age sale is available online, with 193 horses on offer.

The sale will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Alameda County Fair Grounds in Pleasanton, Calif., beginning at noon Pacific. The catalog is split between 174 yearlings and 19 horses of racing age from ages 2 to 4.

Stallions represented by their first yearlings in the catalog include Acclamation, Achieved, Calimonco, Coil, Maclean’s Music, Northern Indy, Shackleford, Smart Bid, Street Life, and Sway Away.

The vast majority of the yearlings in the catalog are California-breds, with a handful of offerings bred in Arizona, Kentucky, New York, and Pennsylvania.
