100 horses on offer in Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners mixed sale

The catalog for the 2017 Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners mixed sale is now available online, with 100 horses on offer.

The auction will take place Sunday, Dec. 3 at Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio, beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern.

This year’s sale, the first in over a decade for the organization, comprises 40 yearlings, 33 broodmares or racing/broodmare prospects, 12 weanlings, 10 juveniles, and 5 horses of racing age.

Stallions whose first crops are represented with yearlings in the Ohio sale include Flashback, Tidal Volume, and Vertiformer. Commissioner has a weanling from his debut crop.

Pregnant mares from the first books of Cryptolight, Prayer on a Wing, and Zimmer are also included in the catalog.
