Belterra Park, located in Cincinnati, is steeped in the vibrant culture of American horse racing. Originally established in 1925 as River Dows, due to its location along the banks of the Ohio River, the track quickly gained prominence as a popular racing destination in the Midwest. 

River Downs changed ownership in 2011 and the newly reconstructed facility was renamed Belterra Park in 2013. Belterra hosts a slate of competitive stakes races throughout its live Thoroughbred meet, including the Cincinnatian Stakes, the Hoover Stakes, and the Tah Dah Stakes.
