ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Fifty Proof, a cleverly named son of Whiskey Wisdom, is the one beat in Thursday’s featured fourth race, an Ontario-sired allowance for nonwinners of three that is scheduled for 1 1/16 miles on the turf.
Fifty Proof ran two solid races on the grass last year for trainer Ian Black. He graduated second time out over nine furlongs on Sept. 2, registering a 76 Beyer Speed Figure in his first try with Lasix.
