If it was a fight they would have stopped it. If it was a Little League game they would have invoked the “mercy rule”. Wiggle It Jiggleit demolished his foes in a $45,300 division of the Circle City at Hoosier Park on Friday night.

Sent off as the 1-9 favorite, Wiggle It Jiggleit took command quickly and never had an anxious moment. He set fractions of 26 2/5, 55 3/5 and 1:22 4/5 as part of the 1:49 4/5 winning mile. At the wire he was 4-1/2 lengths ahead of Mohawk Warrior, with Ima Full Time Job another 3-1/4 lengths back in third.

“He makes it look easy; he’s just an unbelievable horse,” said winning driver Montrell Teague.

The victory by Wiggle It Jiggleit was his 19th in 22 starts this year for owner George Teague, Jr. The 3-year-old gelded son of Mr Wiggles will head to the Monument Circle next Friday at Hoosier according to trainer Clyde Francis.

“He’ll be here next week. Then he has three starts left at Dover; two in the Matron and the Progress Pace. That’s it for the year,” said Francis.

One race earlier, Homicide Hunter put a scare into his loyal backers but was able to get his nose up on the wire to remain perfect in 16 starts this year. Sent off at .20 on the dollar, the 3-year-old trotter found himself third over with six lengths to make up in the stretch, but the stretch proved just long enough for him to get there by a half-length over Muscle Up The Goal in 1:54 1/5.

“I was a little concerned, but that’s his game; stay in the outer flow and take what they give you,” said driver John De Long.

The Dr. Patrick Graham-owned Homicide Hunter is trained by Curt Grummel, who said he would consider supplementing the gelding into the Carl Erskine stakes at Hoosier next Friday.

Other Circle City winners included Roland N Rock (1:51 1/5), Chipps Star (1:55 2/5), Bright Baby Blues (1:54 4/5), Rockin Good (1:51 2/5), Muscle Baby Doll (1:53 1/5) and Triple V Hnaover (1:52).
