Zagora flies home to win Gallorette

For a moment there, it looked as if Zagora might be victimized by pace again. But with a calculated ride and smooth trip under Javier Castellano, the standout mare came through as the favorite Saturday in the 61st running of the Grade 3, $150,000 Gallorette Handicap, the first stakes on the Preakness card at Pimlico. That Preakness Trifecta was the worst paying Tri I ever seen for a Triple Crown Race. Pimlico is an absolute joke, what a toilet, they really need to move the second leg of the Triple Crown.

The whole card paid nothing.......except prkna suphi5 ? Now Bob B can play spoiler at Bel........IHA........never catch this time .......1 turn 1&1/2
James Turner More than 1 year ago
The results of the Preakness up above show the results as 9-7-10. little typo there.
Robert Beard More than 1 year ago
More than just a little typo IMO. There should be absolutely no room at DRF for a mistake like this. Very embarrassing and disappointing to me that they couldn't get it right. Come on DRF - you're getting paid to do the job, so do it right!

Handicappers are the biggest bunch of crybabies. This isn't the *official* results page. It's a *time capsule* and it was fixed... So lame when adults play the gotcha game.

Easy cash but lousy mutual in exotic pools. Was expecting fraction odds on top two for win but public as a group let them go off a lot higher.Next race will see fraction odds on IHA and I dont think Bode will run would like to see 12 horse field, but I dont know.
