| Steven_Crist: | He just looks a couple lengths behind the best Americans, and maybe all the Americans are a couple lengths behind the Europeans. I can't see him doing much more than rounding out the tri or super. |

| Steven_Crist: | If I were alive to just the three of them in the pick-something, I'd feel like I was about 80 percent to get through it. There aren't a lot of other places to go in the race. |
| Steven_Crist: | Oratorio is a complete guess. Perfect Drift is plausible on his best day but when's the last time he actually beat a really good horse? |
| Russ: | Q: What are your thoughts about Starcraft entering the Classic. Do you give him a chance? |
| Steven_Crist: | I just don't see him at all. I think the owners are on a pride trip here and think he can do anything. I'll let him beat me. |

| Steven_Crist: | He's a strong contender....for third. I think he can get a piece of it but he's not better than the fourth best horse in the race. |

| Steven_Crist: | Let's see if he actually runs. After he worked Monday, Dutrow said he had a problem he wasn't sure could be fixed. That's not the kind of thing you like to hear five days before the race. |

| Steven_Crist: | If you say anything negative about LITF's chances, people accuse you of drowning puppies in your spare time but I do think he's vulnerable. |
| Steven_Crist: | He has never faced quality early speed or quality older horses. Of course he can win -- he's a terrific little horse -- but I think he's going to be wildly overbet at 3-5. |

| Steven_Crist: | The likeliest scenario for his getting beat is a big early pace that makes the race melt down. Then you want to look at the closers like Taste of Paradise and Lion Tamer. |

| Steven_Crist: | If the race totally falls apart for some reaon, he could be clunking up at the end but he would have to improve dramatically to get anything. His best Beyer is a 75 and it's going to take a 95+ to win the race. |

| Steven_Crist: | His last two starts he didn't get a chance to show that turn of foot because he was right on top of the pace both times. Having said that, I don't think he's good enough on his best day to beat Leroi or the top Euros. |

| Steven_Crist: | You have completely different Euro scenarios in the three grass races. There's no consistent answer to your question. |
| Steven_Crist: | In the F&M Turf, there's a legit question whether Ouija Board is the same horse she was a year ago. The other Euros look awful. |
| Steven_Crist: | In the Mile, Leroi's as good or better than ANY Euro miler. |
| Steven_Crist: | In the Turf, Bago and Azamour may be a cut above the Americans. |
