Cherokee Queen takes slow-paced Possibly Perfect

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - It's an old racetrack cliche about slow races: "You could've timed that one with a sun dial." And it perfectly fit the Possibly Perfect Stakes on Saturday at Arlington.

Cherokee Queen is no speed horse, but she easily made the lead, set what seemed like impossibly slow fractions, and turning for home sprinted away from the closers in the field to win the $53,000 Possibly Perfect Stakes by 5 1/2 lengths.
