There are five other Group 1 races on the Arc card, including the Prix l’Abbaye de Longchamp, a five-furlong straight-course dash that’s part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Win and You’re In series, offering a fees-paid entry into the BC Turf Sprint plus travel expenses to Santa Anita.
An inside post for Hezthewonforus in Sunday’s Sheung Wan Handicap at Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong is likely to force jockey Joao Moreira to put his mount on the lead.
A start from post 12 of 14 may work in favor of Fast Most Furious, who has shown the ability to reach contention with a late rally.
Those two are the principal runners in the $267,816 Sheung Wan Handicap, the last of 10 races on the Sha Tin program.
A day before the world-famous mare Enable attempts to win an unprecedented third consecutive Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris on Sunday, her stablemate Lah Ti Dar runs in Saturday’s Group 1 Prix de Royallieu for fillies and mares at Longchamp.
Lah Ti Dar, third behind Enable in the Yorkshire Oaks at York Racecourse on Aug. 22, is part of a competitive field in the $329,400 Prix de Royallieu, run at 1 3/4 miles on turf.

Tower of London earned an automatic berth to the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint at Santa Anita on Nov. 2 with a late rally to win in Sunday’s Grade 1 Sprinters Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse in Japan.
The $2.2 million Sprinters Stakes at six furlongs on turf was the sixth career stakes for Tower of London, and first at the highest level.
A decision on whether Tower of London starts in the $1 million BC Turf Sprint at five furlongs will be made in coming weeks. Tower of London is owned by Sheikh Mohammed’s Godolphin Racing and trained by Kasuo Fujisawa.
Beauty Generation, the Horse of the Year in Hong Kong for the last two seasons, will have his first start since late April in Tuesday’s Group 3 Celebration Cup at seven furlongs on turf at Sha Tin.
The Celebration Cup is one of two Group 3 races on Tuesday’s program, the first group-level stakes of the 2019-2020 season that began in early September.
The Royal Lodge is a Breeders’ Cup Challenge Win and You’re In race, offering the winner a fees-paid entry plus travel expenses to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
