NEW YORK – Arrogate, the world’s best horse despite his mysterious non-effort in last month’s San Diego Handicap, looks to rebound in Saturday’s biggest race of the day, the Grade 1, $1 million Pacific Classic. The Pacific Classic, the high point of the Del Mar meet, tops a card that also includes the Grade 1, $300,000 Del Mar Oaks and the Grade 2, $250,000 Del Mar Handicap.

The main event at Saratoga is the Grade 1, $600,000 Alabama Stakes, supported by the Grade 2, $300,000 Lake Placid.

DEL MAR, Calif. - The pick six proved inscrutable on Wednesday at Del Mar, with all tickets busted after five legs, leading to carryovers into Thursday's card of $60,539 in the regular pool and another $95,368 in the single-ticket jackpot.

There was $82,395 in the single-ticket jackpot heading into Wednesday's card, which drew $113,320 in fresh money.

There were seven tickets with 5 of 6 in the pick six on Wednesday, each worth $1,853.20.
