After our preferred choice last week failed to draw in from the AE list, our Pick was salvaged when Solo Animo got up in the last strides to complete a decent trifecta while our preferred choice, Vertical Threat, was still trying to get his act together. In a week of few opportunities, however, two of the first 2-year-olds to run won on Friday the 22nd , Cowan at Churchill and Positivity at Santa Anita while a slew of others also came out.
