It appears that our keys last week decided to thumb their noses at us, but at least our gimmick choices at Aqueduct resulted in a win and partial trifecta and superfecta. Other than that it was a fairly decent week for BreezeFigs maidens with six of the 3-year-olds getting off the schneid at Del Mar (two), Laurel, Penn and Remington (two). What’s interesting is that they won six of the 14 races in which BreezeFigs maidens appeared, so the sophomores are still doing well.
