Plenty of good stuff at Saratoga, though the forecast is dicey. Considered pushing Ego Trip to take down perfect-trip winner Technical Analysis, but though Ego Trip can stay closer than she did last time, a lack of pace clouds this picture. Haven’t fully gotten over my Clairiere crush. She has some potential excuses from her last two and would probably thrive at a strongly run mile and a quarter.

At Monmouth, we’ll see what Code of Honor has left; the two workout videos available looked promising.

RACE 6: SILKY BLUE (#4) and SARATOGA LOVE (#9) appear to be the main speeds in a turf sprint that’s relatively light on pace; if the fractions are controlled that would give those frontrunners the edge. If this race is taken off the grass Main Track Only entrant Betsy Blue would have an advantage on this field and could be considered a single, depending on what runners remained in the field.
