Zany, a daughter of American Pharoah owned by Mike Repole and trained by Todd Pletcher, won a maiden sprint by 6 1/2 lengths at Gulfstream in November before galloping to an 8 1/2-length victory in the Demoiselle. Pletcher may also start Kadabra, a filly who won a maiden sprint at Aqueduct in May and was fifth in a first-level allowance at Gulfstream on Jan. 3.
