Yonkers: Eliminations drawn for Art Rooney, Lismore

Twelve 3-year-old olds—10 colts and two geldings—were entered for Yonkers Raceway’s Art Rooney Pace. The 29th Rooney begins with a pair of $40,000 eliminations this Saturday night (May 18th), with the first four finishers in each getting a seat at the table for the $300,000 final Saturday night, May 25th.

The companion event, the 15th Lismore for sophomore pacing fillies, saw 10 ladies make their intentions known. Two $20,000 elims (races three and five) go this Saturday, with the first quartet in each returning for the $109,000 (est.) final May 25th.
